YPT Tours to Wallis and Futuna

Embark on one of our Wallis and Futuna tours to discovera unique blend of Polynesian culture, French influence, and breathtaking natural beauty.

Wallis and Futuna is a French territory in the Pacific located between Fiji and Tuvalu. Unlike many French colonies, in Wallis and Futuna only 10% of the population speak French, with the remaining speaking a mix of indigenous Polynesian languages such as Wallisian and Futunnian.

Divided into two island groups, Wallis (also known as Uvea) and Futuna (also known as the Hoorn Islands), Wallis and Futuna offer a diverse landscape. Wallis, the more populated one, is known for its rainforests, traditional villages, and beautiful beaches. Futuna, on the other hand, is characterized by its volcanic peaks, dramatic cliffs, and hidden coves.

While many people have never heard of this overseas Island collective before, it has so much to offer – incredible beaches, tropical flora, Polynesian culture and history mixed with European colonial influences. Wallis and Futuna is a special place to visit!
