Be one of the very first foreigners to visit Pyongyang on our Pyongyang Trade Fair and Mount Myohyang Tour. As North Korea continues to officially remain closed to tourists, YPT can arrange your business delegation visa through the Korea External Economic Exchange Association to enter the DPRK to attend the Pyongyang Trade Fair whilst also having the chance to be a tourist and explore the capital city and to be the very first western tourist to visit Mt. Myohyang in over five years since the countries closure in 2020.
We’ve included all the must-see sights of Pyongyang such as the large bronze statues of the leaders, visit Korean War Museum & USS Pueblo, ride the deepest metro system in the world, explore Kim Il Sung Square, shop at a local department store, visit the very top of the Juche tower, walk the streets of Pyongyang’s newest districts and much more.
You’re also invited to attend both the opening and closing ceremony of the Pyongyang Spring International Trade Fair (PITF), as well as having a unique chance to wander through over 450 exhibitors booths which include information and demonstrating goods such as machinery, IT, energy, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and household items from both domestic and international markets.
The Pyongyang Chamber of Commerce will hold a VIP presentation for us for an in-depth overview and insights into the DPRK economy.
This tour also includes a trip north of Pyongyang to Mt. Myohyang where the unique International Friendship Exhibition is built deep into the mountain and holds gifts presented to Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un from other nations, organisations and individuals. Whilst we’re up in the mountains we’ll explore one of the very few remaining Buddhist temples in the country, a cave that’ll take us deep into the mountain, and stay overnight in one of the best hotels in North Korea.
