Interested in political intrigues, beautiful landscapes and sacred temples? Then our Nepal Tour is for you. In four days, it will take you from the streets of Kathmandu to the heights of Nagarkot, where the Himalayas stretch as far as the eye can see.
Your Nepal tour will start in the grand halls of Narayanhity Palace, the site of Nepal’s infamous royal massacre, where we’ll learn about the events that led to the fall of the monarchy. You’ll then explore the UNESCO-listed temples and squares of Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur. You’ll also witness Hindu and Buddhist rituals at sacred sites like Pashupatinath Temple and the iconic Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest in the world.
After your discovery of Kathmandu, you’ll head to Nagarkot for a more serene atmosphere and beautiful views of the Himalayas with sunrise and sunset casting magical colors over the peaks, including glimpses of Mount Everest – weather permitting! There, you will visit the Namobuddha Monastery, an important Buddhist pilgrimage site perched high above the valley, offering spiritual insight and peaceful surroundings.
In true YPT style, you’ll also enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine, from traditional feasts to local street food, and experience Kathmandu’s vibrant nightlife with your fellow travellers – perfect for those who want to experience Nepal beyond just trekking.
After this, you may even continue your Himalayan adventure with us to Tibet!
