Step out of your comfort zone and join us on an exclusive journey through Chad. Home to more than 200 ethnic groups, Chad is one of the most diverse countries in the world, offering an unparalleled travel experience.
Your adventure begins in N’Djamena, the country’s capital, where you’ll explore its historical and cultural landmarks. You will then journey into the Sahel towards Durbali, where you will join the Wodaabe people for the Guerewol Festival. Along the way, you may encounter various nomadic tribes, offering glimpses into their traditional way of life. The Guerewol is a spectacular annual gathering where Wodaabe men adorn themselves with elaborate makeup, jewelry, and feathers, performing mesmerizing dances to attract potential partners.
Over the course of two days, we will fully immerse ourselves in this extraordinary cultural event, witnessing ancient courtship rituals, engaging with the Wodaabe community, and experiencing their unique traditions firsthand.
As the festival concludes, we will make our way back to N’Djamena, traversing the vast Sahel landscape.
Chad remains an off-the-beaten-path destination, offering an unfiltered and deeply enriching travel experience. Despite its economic and political challenges, the warmth and resilience of its people shine through, providing an incredible opportunity for cultural exchanges.
