Day 1: Arrival in Biak – Free Day
Morning:

• Arrive in Biak and transfer to the historic Asana Biak hotel, formerly the Dutch KLM hotel built in the 1950s.
• Check into your modern room with a direct ocean view.

Afternoon:

• Enjoy free time at the tropical swimming pool overlooking the ocean.
• Take a peaceful stroll in the neighbourhood, admiring the clean streets and serene environment of Biak.
• Relax and enjoy the historical charm of the hotel.
• Overnight in Biak.

Day 2: Historical Tour – Japanese Cave, Museum, Wood Carving, and Beaches
Morning:

• Breakfast at your accommodation.
• Visit the Japanese Cave, a significant WWII site where Japanese troops hid during the Battle of Biak in 1944.
• Explore a small museum near the cave, showcasing WWII artefacts and stories.

Afternoon:

• Visit a local wood carving workshop to see traditional Papuan crafts and musical instruments.
• Optionally visit one of Biak’s serene waterfalls.
• End the day at Biak’s deserted beaches, where you can relax and swim.
• Return to your hotel for the evening.
• Overnight in Biak.

Day 3: Free Day / Optional Snorkelling Trip to Padaido Islands

• Breakfast at your accommodation.
• Enjoy a free day to relax or explore on your own.
• Optionally book a snorkelling trip to the stunning Padaido Islands.

Optional Snorkelling Trip:

• Travel to Bosnia and depart by local boat to Owi and Rurbas islands in the Padaido archipelago.
• Discover vibrant coral reefs and marine life while snorkelling in crystal-
• clear waters.
• Enjoy a picnic-style lunch on a white sandy beach under swaying palm trees.
• Explore Owi Island to see a WWII alliance airstrip, still intact despite being
• overgrown by trees.
• Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
• Overnight in Biak.

Day 4: Transfer to Airport
