Sealand Tours and Travel

Does such a thing as Sealand Tours exist? And what indeed is Sealand? Sealand is the most famous MIcronation, or new nation project on the planet.

Located on a World War 2 Tower and in between France and the UK it declared independence in 1967 and has been under one crazy journey since, under 3 generations of the Bates family.

When it comes to off the beaten track, not many places come anywhere near here.

Group Tours to Sealand

Currently there has been only one group tour to Sealand, as well as many independent groups. Tours to Sealand are currently suspended, but are in negotiations to run a group tour to the Principality of Sealand.

Independent Tours to Sealand

Currently independent tours to Sealand are not technically possible, but if you do wish to visit we are in direct conversation with the Royal Family, so can present your case for traveling here.

We can though potentially arrange trips to and around other World War 2 Forts, such as Redsand and Knocks John.

We are though one of the few groups that have made it it o Sealand, which you can read about here.

Again this is a work in progress.

Currently by boat from Felixstowe, although in theory it could be achieved by chopper.
You do need permission, so essence a visa.
No you cannot just rock up there, or you risk getting into serious trouble.
As mentioned we can do other World War 2 Forts, such as Knock John, but safety in these areas varies a lot, as does legality. Visiting by boat on the outskirts though, particularly those near Sheppey are indeed possible.
